Raindrop Technique ®
 restoring the body’s vitality and equilibrium!

Medical practitioner, osteopath and acupuncturist, Dr Richard Moore is co-owner of Levity Health, a holistic gym and wellness centre in Bondi Junction. Always on the lookout for new therapies to offer, he is familiar with the benefits of pure essential oils and agreed to experience Raindrop Technique®.

The Raindrop Technique was developed by Dr Gary Young (USA), who was paralysed as a young man in a logging accident and has subsequently completely healed himself. The process utilises the benefits of therapeutic-grade essential oils combined with techniques that Dr Young learned from a Lakota medicine man, along with Vita Flex, a pressure point massage of the feet and lower legs that is said to have originated in Tibet thousands of years ago.

Well beyond pampering
In Raindrop Technique the essential oils are dispensed like little raindrops along the length of the spine from a height of about six inches and then lightly feathered outwards across the back.

Although the pressure is so gentle that at first you may be tempted to place this technique in the category of ‘pampering’, its effects go much deeper. Whether you are simply tired and in need of relaxation, or experiencing symptoms ranging from headaches to sports injuries, Raindrop Technique unblocks the body through promoting the highest possible levels of oxygenation. Once oxygen is restored, nutrients can return and be assimilated, and the body can begin to balance itself.

The quality of the therapeutic-grade essential oils used in the treatment is the key to its success, as unlike most traditional aromatherapy treatments, they are used neat on the body. Oils used include basil, cypress, marjoram, oregano, peppermint, thyme, and wintergreen. A number of exclusive international Spas such as The Biltmore in Arizona, which attracts the Hollywood set, include this treatment on their menu.

Immediately following his one-hour Raindrop Technique session, Dr Richard Moore reported feeling very relaxed, balanced and centred. One of his favourite essential oils is peppermint and in Raindrop Technique it is used with a hot towel that induces a tingling sensation of heat and coolness simultaneously, which he described as “an intense menthol experience!” The effects of a Raindrop Technique session continue for up to a week and when we checked in with Richard several days later, he was still feeling relaxed and was keen to have others in his team experience a Raindrop session.

As well as relaxation, clients report a variety of benefits ranging from increased energy levels to the spontaneous release of emotional blocks in the body.

“Consider the lilies of the field. They toil not, neither do they weep.”

Dear Helen,

I wanted to tell you, though, about the lily thing. Do you remember how I had some visual impressions of a very old and grotty thing that seemed like a lily bulb?

Well, that night I woke up with some words running through my head–a biblical quote, I believe, which is NOT typical of me: “Consider the lilies of the field. They toil not, neither do they weep.” I almost laughed out loud when I realised what I was thinking. It was quite obvious to me that an attitude adjustment was in order.

You may remember that I also had been telling you before the treatment about my tendency to feel like things were difficult, making mountains out of molehills really.

Well, those lilies in the field don’t do that; they just grow there and be beautiful, don’t they? I just needed to let that grotty old bulb be a beautiful lily.
Cheers,
Merry

A load had been lifted off my shoulders

I just wanted to tell you how great i felt after my Raindrop session with you.

I drove up to Newcastle (about 2hours) and had a quiet night as I was running a training session the next day. I woke the next morning feeling great, specifically my chronic lower back pain had subsided significantly, to the point where i had more mobility than i have had in many, many months.
I felt light on my feet and had a great feeling of happiness, like a load had been lifted from my shoulders.
I will definitely be back to see you for some more sessions soon.
thanks so much for your work.

Raindrop Technique

pure essential oils + total indulgence

Pure, natural essential oils are the oldest, and some of the most powerful therapeutic agents known to man.
Wherever there is a blockage or pain in the body there is a lack of oxygen. Pure essential oils promote the highest possible levels of oxygenation, delivering oxygen to the blood stream almost instantaneously, and affecting every cell in the body within 20 minutes. Once oxygen is restored, nutrients can return and be assimilated, and the body can begin to balance itself.
Your session
Each session takes approximately 45-55 minutes. However, the positive effects continue to work at a deeper level for up to a week following application.
Choose from the following range of blissful options for delivering the extraordinary benefits of 100% pure, natural essential oils throughout your body.

Raindrop Technique uses pure natural, therapeutic-grade essential oils that create relaxation, balance, and vitality. Vita Flex is included as part of the treatment

The Raindrop Technique’
Raindrop Technique’ originated from the research of D. Gary Young and a Lakota medicine man almost two decades ago. It integrates Vita Flex and massage techniques with essential oils.

In this unique process a series of therapeutic-grade essential oils are dispensed onto the spine. They are dropped through the energetic field from a height of about six inches like little drops of rain to achieve a layering effect. The oils are worked in with various light massage techniques and the combined effect assists in the body’s energetic balance.
The Vita Flex Technique
Vita Flex means “vitality through the reflexes”. Said to have originated in Tibet thousands of years ago, long before acupuncture was developed, Vita Flex is a specialised form of hand and foot massage that is energising and balancing to the entire body.

The benefits of the technique are amplified by the application of oils to contact points as energy is released through electrical impulses created by contact between the fingertips and reflex points. The electrical charge follows the nerve pathways to a break in the electrical circuit caused by toxins, damaged tissue, or loss of oxygen. There are more than 1,400 Vita Flex points throughout the human body that encompass the entire realm of body and mind, and can be used to bring balance.

… your guarantee of purity
Only 100% pure, natural essential oils (ie. from nature, with no added synthetics) are used in Raindrop sessions. They meet the international AFNOR/ISO standards for therapeutic-grade oils, regarded as the highest standards in the world for purity.

Full of breezy hope

March 11, 2008 by frockfashion

I came to Helen, not knowing much about the Raindrop Technique, it was wonderful.

The massage beforehand was just what I needed, Helen’s massage technique was slightly different from the usual and it really felt therapeutic, I just melted into the table it was great.

Once the oils were applied for the Raindrop Technique I instantly felt a block in my throat and I thought I was going to cry but it subsided quickly.  When the towel was applied and the blankets I felt so light and content.

I drove home feeling very mellow.  I feel fantastic today, full of breezy hope.

Thanks so much.

My first encounter with the “Raindrop Technique” was in May last year (2007), a day I will never forget!

March 1, 2008 by frockfashion

My first encounter with the “Raindrop Technique” was in May last year (2007), a day I will never forget!

Nothing could have prepared me for the total lack of tension I experienced on rising from the massage table, a feeling which remained with me for a full week following my first Raindrop.

32 years earlier I had slipped a disc in the lower back and was plagued with a mixture of sometimes extreme pain to nothing less than general discomfort ever since.  I had forgotten what life was like without tightness and tension in the pelvic region until that day.

At least every six weeks, I now attend Helen’s very peaceful rooms to renew myself with the extraordinary pure essential oils she uses from Young Living Essential Oils which leave me tension-free and awakened with their magnificent scents.

I also use some of the oils at home for myself and have found great relief from PanAway for the back pain and sciatica, wonderful relaxation with Patchouli oil, revival from summer humidity with Acceptance diluted in a water spray, and a feeling of happiness and ability to face the day ahead with Valor.

My elderly mother has been very happy with the soothing results of Lavender oil which she uses on her pillow slip or handkerchief through the night on many occasions when she wakens and cannot go back to sleep.  She says she then sleeps like a baby after using Lavender.

I thank Helen greatly for introducing me to the Raindrop Technique and Young Living’s essential oils and know I will never be without them again.
