Throughout antiquity, cedarwood has been used in medicines. It was used as both a traditional medicine and incense in Tibet.

Lavender Essential Oil
The most versatile of all essential oils and my absolute favourite It is traditionally known to balance the body and to work wherever there is a need. If in any doubt, use Lavender. Therapeutic-grade Lavender has been highly regarded for the skin and has also been clinically evaluated for its relaxing effects. It may be used to cleanse cuts, bruises, and skin irritations. The fragrance is calming, relaxing, and balancing — physically and emotionally.
Lavender is grown and distilled at the Young Living Farms in France, Idaho and Utah.

Historical Uses During Medieval times, people were divided on the properties of Lavender in regard to love. The list of historicial uses for Lavender is quite long, as it was used for just about everything.
The French scientist Rene Gattefosse was the first to re-discover the healing properties of Lavender when he severly burned his hands in a laboratory explosion in 1921.
French medicial uses for Lavender include acne, allergies, burns (cell renewal), cramps (leg), dandruff, nappy rash, flatulence, hair loss, herpes, indigestion, insomnia, lower lood pressure, lympathatic system drainage, menopausal conditions, mouth abscess, nausea, phlebitis, pre-menstral consitions, scarring (minimises), stretch marks, tachycardia, thrush and water retention. Rose Essential Oil
Rose has been used for the skin for thousands of years. The Arab physician, Avicennna, was responsible for first distilling rose oil, eventually authoring an entire book on the healing attributes of the rose water derived from the distillation of rose. Its beautiful fragrance is intoxicating and aphrodisiac-like. It helps bring balance and harmony, allowing one to overcome insecurities. It is stimulating and elevating to the mind, creating a sense of wellbeing (Excerpt from the Essential Oil Desk Reference).
Testimonial
Rose would have to be among my absolute favourite oils. At first I delayed buying Rose oil because of the price……but then I was given a bottle for Valentine’s day a couple of years ago, and now I wouldn’t be without it. Rose oil has the highest frequency of all essential oils (320 MHz). This means that, above any other, it helps to raise our own frequency to the highest level it can be. I have noticed many times that a single drop of Rose oil on my heart paves the way for very loving, warm, happy thoughts. Yesterday I was feeling a bit ‘blaaahhhh’, so I anointed my heart with Rose oil (a single drop). Within minutes, I noticed that my negative feelings were replaced with thoughts of such gratitude and wonder that my whole world looked bright again. Even I was stunned at how effortlessly it had worked. – Artemis (QLD) (Excerpt from Artemis’ oils bulletin)

My children came down with a cold overnight. I diffused Thieves oil blend in their room and applied RC oil blend to their chest. Over the following couple of days, I continued using RC and diffusing Thieves oil blend and applying it to the soles of the children’s feet. The children came down with only one-third of what they would normally and they kept the cold to themselves, where usually they would lovingly share it – Sam Krivek (NSW)
Testimonial
I have had gum ache for 3 days. I looked at it in the mirror and found the gum around my upper left back tooth was swollen. I remembered that Hiroko told me about the Thieves oil is good for gum problem, so I used a couple drops of Thieves oil to rub on the swollen area. But, in the meantime, I was skeptical about if it will work, so the next day (Thursday), I called my dentist to make an appointment. My appointment was on the following Monday. I continued to rub the Thieves oil on my gum twice a day. I gradually felt better each day. The swollen was completely gone and I did not feel any pain on Sunday. I was so amazed, and of course, I called my dentist to cancel the appointment on Monday! – K.Cheng (Excerpt from Sha-Faun newsletter)
